2D Versions
These images were created by using pouring medium and/or kitchen oil mixed with acrylic paint. They were digitally modified to create the compositions below. A selection of acrylic pourings subsequently had their luminance values extracted and the data used to create horizontal displacements in order to generate stereoscopic, 3D imagery for projection and even to be viewed in 360 degree, 3D virtual reality. They are spectacular writ large and totally immersive in VR. Some were turned into animated, 3D kalaidoscopes.
