Here we see a tragic woman who has lost all that sweetness which history books tell us that women once possessed in a pre-feminism era.
This painting wasn’t going too well and I was becoming increasingly frustrated with it so one day, I thought: “Oh stuff it. I’ll turn her into Hitler.”
And so a great work of art was born. Lots of people have commented that they love her, unaware that their own wives are probably like her on the inside.
